Saturday sermon: James 1:19-27
Posted by Ros Clarke, 12 Aug 2017
On Saturdays, we're highlighting some great sermons you may have missed. Please let us know if you've heard a good sermon lately that's available to listen online.
‘Quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry.’
“Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all lived like this?” asks Nick Gowers as he begin his sermon on James 2 at Holy Trinity, Old Hill. This is a very practical sermon, helping us to see where we are thinking more about ourselves than others, and suggesting ways to change that. Most of all, of course, by listening to God’s word and then doing it.
There’s plenty here for us to reflect on in our own lives and in the church today.
Listen here, and then make sure to put it into practie.
