Andrew Latimer preaches at Grace Church, Greenwich on living calmly under an unjust system

The injustice of the world is obvious to us all. How do we relate with integrity to authorities we don’t respect, even to the point of finding them unjust or immoral? What do you do when you feel that the authorities over you are completely out of step with your own values and beliefs? Andrew Latimer finds wisdom for us all in Ecclesiastes 8, advocating loyalty and submission wherever possible, for God’s sake, for our own sake, and in the knowledge that God’s justice is coming.

One for anyone struggling to come to terms with the obvious problems in contemporary society, and even in the contemporary church.

Listen to the sermon here.
