Preparing for 2020: Same sex marriage and the Church of England
Posted by Ros Clarke, 23 Sep 2019
John Dunnett spoke at JAEC 2019 on the current situation in the Church of England with respect to same sex marriage, the history leading to this point, and the roadmap for the next 12 months, with helpful practical advice on what can still be done.
John Dunnett is the General Director of CPAS, Chair of the Evangelical Group of the General Synod, and a member of the Church of England Evangelical Council. His session at JAEC 2019 explained the current state of the Living in Love and Faith process, looked ahead to the proposed timetable over the next 12 months, and gave helpful practical advice on what can still be done. This talk is particularly valuable for all PCC members and those elected to deanery, diocesan and general synods and we encourage you to share it widely.
