Lee on the Lectionary: Sunday after Christmas (Year A)
Posted by Lee Gatiss, 28 Dec 2016
Lee Gatiss (with help from Rudolph) expounds the readings for the Sunday after Christmas, which are Isaiah 63:7-9, Hebrews 2:10-18, Matthew 2:13-23.
The readings this week remind us that Christmas is about God himself graciously coming among us, not just to identify with us or bless us in the abstract, but to die, as planned.
