Lee Gatiss (with help from Rudolph) expounds the readings for the Sunday after Christmas, which are Isaiah 63:7-9, Hebrews 2:10-18, Matthew 2:13-23.

The readings this week remind us that Christmas is about God himself graciously coming among us, not just to identify with us or bless us in the abstract, but to die, as planned.

You can also follow along with these video expositions at facebook.com/lectionarylee.

Did you know we also tweet the video link every Sunday morning at 6am? Follow us via @churchsociety.

Lee Gatiss is the Director of Church Society. Rudolph is a red-nosed reindeer, who has a very shiny nose.
