Lee on the Lectionary: Proper 24 (Year A)
Posted by Lee Gatiss, 18 Oct 2017
The common theme of this week's readings is not easy to discern. It might just be "God"! Or possibly "squirrels". But it certainly involves pagan emperors and hope-inspiring work focussed on a glorious return.
The lectionary readings for the week known as Proper 24 (Year A), are Isaiah 45:1-7, 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10, and Matthew 22:15-22. In this short video, Lee Gatiss expounds those readings for us today.
