Lee on the Lectionary: 3rd Sunday before Advent (Year A)
Posted by Lee Gatiss, 8 Nov 2017
Our readings this week teach that a final cataclysmic day of reckoning is coming, for which prepared Christians can hope, while others ought to fear.
The lectionary readings for the 3rd Sunday before Advent (Year A) are Amos 5:18-24, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and Matthew 25:1-13. In this short video, Lee Gatiss expounds those readings for us today.
