Charlie Skrine on the Proposed Merger

Charlie Skrine, the Associate Rector of St helen's, Bishopsgate on why he's delighted with the proposed merger of Church Society with Reform and the Fellowship of Word and Spirit.
Like many people I’ve been a member of two of these organisations for many years. And like most of us I don’t have the time to keep up with everyone and go to every conference, so I’m delighted that we’re going to have a chance to come together.
I know that some of my friends are worried about the future and how this organisation will be structured and run. I’ve been part of CEEC for the last two years (that’s the Church of England Evangelical Council) and it was wonderful to see all 3 organisations there, along with everyone else, united in recognising that we are going to need differentiation in the future and that we’re be able to work with various different strategies as that works out locally.
So I’m looking forward to this and hoping that we can get this launched really well.
