Best of 2019: Written Word
Posted by Ros Clarke, 1 Jan 2020
In 2019 we published three books, four magazines, four theological journal issues, over 150 blog posts and and more than 20 email newsletters and updates.
While audio and video continue to expand their reach, at Church Society we have not abandoned the written word! We were excited to publish Gospel Flourishing in a Time of Confusion, Fight Valiantly! and Reach Build Send this year and to expand our output into digital books, available on Amazon. Crossway and Churchman continue to be published quarterly, respectively offering theological, pastoral and biblical content for the ordinary reader, and rigorous Anglican scholarship for pastors and students alike.
We’ve published a number of excellent articles on the blog this year. Among the most widely read and shared were:
What is Spiritual Abuse?
God’s Judgment on Spiritual Abuse
Guarding Against Spiritual Abuse
Guarding Children and Young People Against Spiritual Abuse
Evangelism and Dementia
Is Rural Ministry Still Worth It?
Gender and sexuality
A Tale of Two Levels
A Congregation of the Faithful
The Marks of a True Church
The Marks of an Anglican Church
No Red Lines
